The 7th Project On the Moves (PROMS) is a social event held by MSS FEUI that introduces and promotes about Indonesian fabrics especially Tenun Ikat.
PROMS has been held for almost 7 years and its theme are changing from one year to another year in order to serve people with the latest social issue.
After the success of previous The 6th PROMS with its theme A Tribute to Indonesian Badminton as social focus brought within the event, this year, once again, Project Division of MSS FEUI will deliver The 7th PROMS with its theme “Kreasi Cita Muda Indonesia”
Main event The 7th PROMS
> Design Competition
The 7th PROMS holds a student’s fashion design competition to foster the sense of nationalism among the young generation. After collecting the idea generations, all the designs using tenun ikat as its main motives will be displayed in Mall of Indonesia for a week, and top six designs will be realized and actually worn by models on runway.

During the main event there will be exhibition of Indonesian local products, produced by small-medium enterprises, the purpose of which is to raise people’s awareness of our own local products’ quality.
> Talkshow (October 6, 2012 at Mall of Indonesia, 2nd Floor)
The theme of this interactively-packaged talkshow is the cultivation of Indonesian ethnic fashion design. The invited speakers will be the experts.
> Fashion Show (October 6, 2012 at Mall of Indonesia, 2nd Floor)
Six best idea generations chosen by the judges of design competition will be worn by models down the runway, along with other famous local designers’ dresses. All dresses must use tenun ikat as main motives.
