Diamma.com- Baeksang Arts Awards ke-56 merupakan malam penghargaan untuk beberapa kategori, seperti drama (serial televisi), film, dan teater.
Perhelatan bergengsi tersebut berlangsung pada Jumat (5/6) di Aula KINTEX Ilsan, Provinsi Gyeonggi, Korea Selatan. Acara diadakan tanpa penonton dikarenakan pandemi Covid-19.
Selain itu, Shin Dong Yup, Suzy, dan Park Bo Gum didapuk menjadi MC pada acara Baeksang Arts Awards selama 3 tahun berturut-turut
Grand Prize atau penghargaan utama dimenangkan oleh serial televisi drama KBS2 “When the Camellia Blooms,” sementara para pemeran membawa pulang penghargaan untuk kategori Aktor Terbaik, yaitu Kang Ha Neul dan Aktor Pendukung Terbaik diraih oleh Oh Jung Se. Adapun, Penghargaan Aktris Terbaik untuk televisi diberikan kepada Kim Hee Ae yang berperan pada “The World of the Married”.

Yoo Jae Suk meraih penghargaan Best Male Variety Star pada variety show “How Do You Play?” dan Park Na Rae memenangkan Best Female Variety Star untuk “Home Alone” (I Live Alone).
Dalam kategori film, Lee Byung Hun memenangkan Aktor Terbaik untuk “The Man Standing Next” dan Jeon Do Yeon memenangkan Aktris Terbaik untuk “Birthday”.
